Mandala Mondays

Lindisfarne Gospels

Went to "Mandala Mondays" at CharKat's Creative Insanity where we proceeded to create this Mandala.  By drawing lines and circles and using a bit of math, you can create this design.

However, as you can see, I just could not get the corner swirls to complete the design.  I must say, though, creating this was lost of fun!

Here is another one I did last month with Charlotte Carpentier.

I took this idea a step  further and created this one with a map and a gold border.

Here is a close-up.  

The ship was not on the map, so I had to superimpose the image onto the map.
