I took the challenge very literally and painted on fabric. I drew the design out first on paper and then transferred it onto multi-purpose fabric. I thought about stitching over the paint, but don't know if that will take from it or add to it. The dimensions are 11-1/2" X 16". I have posted two versions of this and as you can see it doesn't matter which way you look at it, it will look like that is the right way, but the first one the right is the way I see it should be.
